Collection Number: MSS 2002-0080 Businessman involved with the development of the Mack "FCD" RailBus who served as president of the New England Transportation Company, a bus and trucking company based in Boston, Massachusetts, in the early to mid-1950s. Papers include a scrapbook of newspaper clippings featuring information about Dumaine's work for the NET Co. and a mechanic's strike in 1953; a proxy fight between Dumaine's brother F.C. Dumaine, Jr. and Patrick McGinnis for control of the New Haven Railroad in 1954; and a move by Patrick McGinnis, president of the NHRR in the mid-1950s, to merge the New Haven Railroad with the Boston and Maine Railroad in 1955.
