Workers at Play: Baseball Teams, Bowling Leagues, Company Picnics and Amateur Nights

An online exhibit of images from the Connecticut Business History Collections in Archives & Special Collections of the University of Connecticut Libraries

We are taking reservations now for venues who wish to display the exhibit at their facilities. Please contact Laura Smith for more information.

The exhibit is on display at the Noah Webster House in West Hartford, Connecticut, from Monday, March 3, to Monday, June 16, 2014.

The exhibit consists of 30 boards all mounted on foamcore:
1 Introduction board, 36"x24";
29 photographs, differing sizes between 16"x20" and 8 1/2"x11"
Captions for each grouping of photos, 6"x10"

The boards are light enough that they can be stuck to a panel or wall using 3M Scotch 108 Removable Foam Mounting Squares. We do not allow the use of permanent mounting squares or double-sided tape to adhere the boards to any surface. Purchase of the mounting squares is the responsibility of the borrowing institution.

The borrowing institution is responsible for pickup and return of the exhibit. There are no fees for borrowing this exhibit.
